Booking Conditions Date: 12 July 2018
How
to book with us:This contract regulates the relationship
between Benarevo SL as a provider and you as a service recipient.
When you make a booking you certify that you are at least 20 years
old and able to act. A contract will exist between you and Benarevo
SL as soon as we issue our confirmation invoice. Your online booking
will automatically result in a confirmation, this is NOT the
confirmation invoice. You will receive the confirmation invoice and
renting contract once the deposit has been received in our account.
We advise you not to book flights, etc., until you have received your
confirmation invoice. After payment of the full amount, you will
receive the voucher for your holiday stay by email. Please download
and print this voucher. It has to be presented upon arrival. This
contract is made according to the terms of Spanish Law. You and we
determine Maspalomas, Gran Canaria to be the place of jurisdiction at
all times.
Accommodation
services
Housecleaning, as well as changing linen and
towels, occurs just prior to arrival and at least weekly during your
stay. Housemaids are not responsible for laundry or washing up, or
for cleaning the BBQ or oven. We ask that you keep the villa tidy and
leave it more or less as you found it within reason. Some villas
offer beach towels that can be ordered at a deposit of 8€ each, as
well as dressing gowns for a deposit of 20€ each and Bluetooth
speakers for a deposit of 2€0 each. The pool is checked regularly
and cleaned once a week and this is normally carried out in the
morning. However, neither the pool nor the garden personnel have
fixed hours. Water and gas consumption are included. If you need help
reserving taxis, airport transfers from the villa or excursions,
please ask at reception.
Air
conditioning/heating
Our villas are equipped with
central air conditioning/heating that supplys most of the rooms with
hot or cold air. Please note that the air conditioning will only work
if all windows and doors are closed.
Booking
and cancellation
When you make your booking, you must
pay a deposit of 20% of the total cost. The remaining balance must be
paid approximately 60 days before your arrival date. If payment is
not made in good time (within 2 days of this deadline) and you have
made no effort to contact us, we reserve the right to cancel your
booking and your deposit may be retained. You, or any member of
your party, may cancel your booking at any time. In this case, you
are obliged to send us a written notification by certified email or
letter to our head office: C/ Mar de Escocia 21, San Bartalome de
Tirajana, 35100, Las Palmas, España.
Since
there are costs incurred in cancelations of the rental contract, the
applicable cancelation charges will be applied as follows:
cancellation within 24 hours of booking - no fee; cancelation more
than 60 days before arrival - deposit (20%) will be retained;
cancelation within 60 days of arrival - 100% of the total will be
retained. If we have to make a major change to your booking, we will
inform you as soon as reasonably possible and offer you an equivalent
alternative. If there is no alternative, a full refund will be
offered. You may change the date of your booking subject to
availability and administration fees.
Refundable
Security Deposit
A security deposit of 400 euros is
required prior to arrival. This deposit is used to cover contract
violations for example overcrowding or damage. If the deposit is
charged, you will receive a statement within 28 days of departure
otherwise the refund will take place within 24 hours of your departure,
subject to a thorough inspection. If no deposit was collected, we
reserve the right to charge the card details contained in the booking
file.
Acces
to bedrooms/Additional Guests
Spare bedrooms will be
locked unless we receive a direct request to leave them open.
However, please be aware that if access is granted to a bedroom that
has not been agreed for use, additional charges may be incurred if
the beds, towels, etc., in that room are used. You
can book rooms for additional guests, for example, who will only be
staying with you for part of your stay. Please book these at least 48
hours before arrival at our reception and provide details (Ids,
etc.). We will then grant access the additional beds and rooms.
Building
work
Building work and noise are sometimes
unavoidable as the demand for new accommodation increases; there
might be construction in the vicinity of your accommodation, carried
out by local authorities or private developers. Many of our
properties are also situated in residential areas and building work
may begin on a neighbouring property over which we have no control
and, in most cases, we are not given prior notice. If the work may be
considered to seriously impair the enjoyment of your holiday, we will
notify you and offer you the opportunity make alternative
arrangements prior to your departure.
Liability
restrictions
We accept responsibility for the rental
object as described on the website. If the rental object is not
handed over as promised, the housemanager will rectify the defect as
fast as possible or you will receive compensation if the defect
cannot be remedied and your holiday is significantly impaired by this
circumstances. We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions
of our employees, agents and suppliers except where they lead to
death, injury or illness. Our liability in all cases shall be limited
to a maximum of twice the costs of your travel arrangements unless
settled otherwise by Swiss Law. Except when otherwise expressly
stated in these booking conditions, we will not be liable if our
contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we or
the suppliers of the services in question could not foresee or avoid,
with all due care. Examples include warfare and acts of terrorism
(and threat thereof), civil strife, significant risks to human health
such as the outbreak of serious disease at the travel destination or
natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or weather conditions
which make it impossible to travel safely, the act of any government
or other national or local authority including port or river
authorities, industrial dispute, lock closure, natural or nuclear
disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster, unavoidable
technical problems with transport and all similar events outside of
our control.
